 Apr 4, 2008 i scoff at networking sites: * i think blogs have no purpose other than to feed the occasional need to be self-absorbed. those viewing your sites are voyeurs, in a sense, feeding another need to know what has happened to the girl back in highschool who was most likely to succeed: "ahh, she's got a perfect family... nice husand ... but her kids aren't that cute o" -- envy "aww, she_is_FAT. and still single. good. " -- schadenfreude "she's such a bad speller. what is up with her subject-verb agreement???" -- me * i think posting "me after spending thousands in a salon-to get the generic rebonded hair look/me believing i'm a fashionista" pictures to show off to whoever cares is narcissistic, self-important, and pretty pathetic. * i hate being invited to register to *insert latest networking site here* so i can view my "friend's" page. i hate it more because these friends should have known better than to invite me. but here i am. go figure.  | ||
